International & Transfer Student Apartments Near MTSU
Our apartment floor plans offer a high-end living experience, featuring stainless steel appliances, hardwood-style floors, granite countertops, in-unit washers and dryers, private patios or balconies, flat-screen TVs, and a variety of other premium interior finishes.
We recommend bringing items, such as your personal belongings, clothes, bedding, toiletries, pots/pans/dishes/silverware, and any decorations. The major furniture/appliances will be in your apartment at move-in to help make your life simpler! Also, bring a form of Photo ID, such as a license or passport, so that you can check in and receive your keys on move-in day!
Since we lease on a first-come, first-served basis and have limited availability, we offer a Non-Enrollment Addendum for your peace of mind. This allows you to lock in your spot at the current rates—and if you’re not accepted to MTSU, simply provide proof of non-acceptance and you can cancel your lease. We offer several options to apply and sign up to live at East Main Quarters! Students can apply with a guarantor as long as they are at least 25 years old, have a U.S. Social Security Number, and pass a credit and income check. Students applying with a guarantor are required to pay Security Deposit. If you do not have a qualifying guarantor, there are 3 other ways to qualify!
- Self-Qualify: If you have a U.S. Social Security Number, make 3x your monthly base rent, and can pass a credit check, you may opt to Self-Qualify. All Self-Qualifying Applicants must provide proof of their income via 3 consecutive pay stubs and are required to pay a Security Deposit equal to 2 installments of the base rent.
- Guarantor Waiver Program (GWP): If you are a full-time student and do not have a qualifying guarantor, you may opt to use our GWP. You will need to send proof of Full-Time Enrollment and sign a Guarantor Waiver Program Addendum. GWP Applicants are required to pay an additional monthly fee and pay a security deposit.
- International (I20): If you are an International Student who does not have a qualifying guarantor, you may apply with your I20. International Applicants are required to pay a Security Deposit equal to 2 installments of base rent and send proof of their I20.
Note that all Security Deposits are refundable, pending your move-out inspection and any damages to your apartment.
East Main Quarters is located conveniently close to the MTSU campus. Residents of our community can walk, bike, or drive to campus and make it to class and back home in record time.
As part of the application process, you’ll be able to list your preferred roommates. After approval, each person will need to join RoomSync—our roommate matching program. Using the app, you can connect with one another and let our team know you’d like to live together.
We offer individual, by-the-bed leases, allowing you to secure your space with your own housing contract whenever you’re ready. However, since our leasing operates on a first-come, first-served basis, we can’t guarantee spots will be held for preferred roommates. To boost your chances of living with friends, we suggest signing your leases together at the same time.
We offer fully virtual leasing for your convenience, so you are not required to come in person! To get started, you’ll first hit the “apply now” button on our website! From there, you’ll fill our all seven steps of your non-binding application, submit (and pay any fees if applicable), and once your lease is generated, to officially secure your spot, you will initial and sign all documents. Depending on your application type/how you’re qualifying, there may be additional steps required prior to screening and lease approval.
